We live quite busy lives so when I see quick and easy recipe’s I’m all for trying them out. Here are a few recipes that I have decided I have to try out this month.
One pot pasta
This one pot pasta is from damn delicious and it looks great. Prep time and cooking time all adds up to 20 minutes of cooking time. That’s my kind of dish. This looks like the perfect midweek dinner.
Sizzling hot summer sangria
We are having one super hot summer already and I don’t see it cooling down any time soon. SO, instead I have decided to embrace the heat by sitting outside and drinking Sangria. I found these two awesome sangria recipes. The first one is (melon mint sangria) from Cayleigh’s kitchen and the strawberry basil sangria is from Mother Nature Network.
Melon Mint Sangria
- 1 & 1/2 cups diced watermelon
- 1 & 1/2 cups diced canteloupe
- 1 & 1/2 cups diced honey melon
- 10 mint leaves
- juice from 1/4 lime
- 2 cups ice
- 1 bottle sparkling wine
Strawberry Basil Sangria
- 1/2 pound fresh strawberries
- 1 apple
- 1 ounce fresh whole basil leaves
- 1 bottle Cline Cellar Cool Climate Chardonnay
- 1/2 cup organic sugar
- 1 cup club soda
- 1 cup white grape juice
