This last week Matt and I decided to do a last minute trip to the Kruger Park. After doing much research regarding taking a 10 month old baby into a low risk Malaria area at this time of year (it’s all good) we were off.
It was such a good trip with many good sightings and awesome quality time spent with my hubby and baby Lilah.
We saw the big 5 all in one day (practically on one road). Super lucky.
Lilah also officially started crawling. Something she hasn’t been wanting to do out of pure laziness and because she has had the convenience of Matt and I jumping at the chance to pick her up. Spoilt baby. We are so proud!
As a family we really needed this trip. It’s been long overdue. Both Matt and I , especially Matt, have been working really hard lately and we’re pretty exhausted so this long weekend came at the perfect time.
We also did one of my favourite things that we often land up doing on holidays. We came up with a new and exciting project/venture for our future. Something that we both love and that brings us a lot of joy. Something that we will hopefully be sharing soon.
For now, here are a few pics of the weekend taken on my phone. I will put the rest up soon.
