I have been using this content calendar for the past month. I have also already got my August calendar up.
Digital vs Printed
I have always used a digital content calendar, either in Excel or on Trello. It’s great and it works but, I need something more visual. I have realised I need something right in front of me as a constant reminder, day in and day out.
So, I created this printable for myself so that I can keep track and see exactly what I have done already, what I still need to do, and what I can’t forget to do.

Why use a content calendar?
Using a content calendar might seem like too much effort, especially if you’re just starting out with writing. However, using a one can make all the difference in the world. I used to find myself creating quick fluff posts, just to be able to put out content and then later I would realise that I actually had something planned for the day.
How to use it
- Print the planner out
- Above “month of” write the month you are planning for eg: August
- Complete the days of the month in the little white blocks
- And then write down everything you’re planning to release on the days you want
